Nancy Kadenyi

I hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management from South Eastern Kenya University. Currently , I serves as the Natural Resources Management Specialist at MetaMeta Kenya. My primary focus lies in rangeland and natural resource management, agroforestry, farmer-led natural regeneration, water management, climate-smart agriculture, community-based environmental education, and participatory research.
For the last five years, I have collaborated closely with local communities on agriculture, natural resources, and water management initiatives. Through this experience, I have developed a broad range of innovative and transformative skills encompassing assessments, citizen science, quantitative and qualitative research, focused group discussions, climate-resilient farming, agroforestry, rainwater harvesting, community engagement, urban tree planting, and climate resilience.
I stand out in my ability to create alliances with diverse teams and stakeholders. Her strength lies in making sustainable, long-term strategies that capitalize on the potential of landscapes while preserving their ecological balance. My profound comprehension of the intricate relationship between the environment and human aspects drives her dedication to executing projects that enable well-informed decision-making, fostering a harmonious and mutually beneficial coexistence with the natural surroundings.
